Is it your first time attending a drag show, and not sure what to wear?
Have no fear, we’re here to give you the low down. We’re about to let you in on the do’s don’ts of what to wear, so that you’ll look (almost) as fabulous as the queens themselves!
Get Colourful
Although you do not want to steal the spotlight from the drag queens, they will bring their A game and undoubtedly be FIRE! Accordingly, you don’t want to show up in your most plane-jane jeans and a tee. Make sure to dress the part by wearing extravagant prints, bedazzled sequin get-up, and bold colour. Wear what will make you feel great. Don’t outshine the performers, but have fun with your style. After all, that’s why you’re there.
Get Glam
No need to worry about every detail of your outfit, you are not the performer and will (most likely!) not be the one on stage. But, you might get called out by one of the drag queens. Just in case, you want to make sure that you’re wearing something that you’d be confident being seen in. Remember, this is your night out on the town! Dress up, wear an outfit that gets you excited!

Put On A Smile
As important as any material outfit decision may be, one of the key elements of any drag show is to have a good time. No Queen wants you to take any part of your experience too seriously, and so the most important thing to wear to any drag show is most definitely your smile. All in all, when all is said and done, make sure to smile and have a good time!
